Decembre is here and its time yet again to pay rent. It has become pretty cold in MA. and it keeps me inside a little much...too much for that matter since I am recovering from the H1a1. The woods stay warm but the trails are covered in leaves that hide all the ruts and sharp rocks so MTB'n gets pretty hairy...i guess all i can do is drink more coffee and wait for march 1st to roll around. There is one thing i have learned in the last few months...California, wheather Northern or Southern is my home...and every time I go...I cant wait to come back and eat a taco.

this is oscar. he is the newest addition to the cat in the hat family, if you look closely you can see his older brother sitting in the bottom right hand corner. if my dad was a college professor i would totally let him hook me up with his students just as the younger cat in the hat has done. They had a party at their house, but i only came early to play hide and seekw ith oscar, he's better at hiding than you are.
billy is the man, this kid rides every kind of bike, cruises with a binger in his back pack at all times and has been truly geeked out since day one, he is originally good. wheelie with glass in the backpack to break his fall.

so, i got on the train with this guy to go to san jose. i guess he is now a tourist attraction for japanese girls...
then i tried to ride by myself but i proved to be too drunk from thetrain ride. so to kill time i went to the library and got an sj public library card and used their internet. then i met up with beerman and his roomate whose name escapes me but shouldnt.
then we met up with these trouble makers.
this was on a bet... i think kyle could have taken her home.
then i ate mexican food and passed out at beermans spot. i woke up and watched when harry met sally, i really like that movie. i rode my bike accross san jose which proved to be way more fun for how hungover i was than i had anticipated. rode some with cobbs. the new sj park is really good. a bit heshed out. i got back to the city and this guy was around. hes an alien movie star . that language on his sign is a more advanced version of english. hes very knowledgeable about made up galaxies and populations.

so im battling all electronics today...from the coffee maker to serato...the incredibly slow internet, why my space bar is a presta/schrader adapter...it seems that all electronis of mine are on there way out. my ipod battery lasts 1.5 hours topps. and it's only three or four years old...whatev thats the way love goes...thats the way love goes.
I found this camera at the Buffalo Exchange lost and found in Hillcrest. This was a while ago when I "dj'ed" for 6 hours and got $100 and a nervous breakdown...While waiting for Serato to reboot for the tenth error and reboot today...I decided to really dig through my photos and all though this miight be boring to you it to me is another occurance of how tiny the world is.

ive bought a few bikes here in the past while frank, mark and robert were working here in long hot hours of the summer before something happened to them all. all i have to say is those guys were great. theyd take care of all their customers like real people. unlike the complete idiots who work there now, you have this little kid who doesnt know anything about bikes but hey hes a kid, then you have an odd old man who gets put down by another worker, Sisco??, i believe his name was, for off the guys is a complete low life, flirts with every customer that walks in, and i mean flirts with women who are obviously there for bike stuff and have no interest in him whatsoever, regardless whatever, the guy is a complete pothead, disrespectful jerk who even attempted hitting on my girl friend before i entered the store, then when i began speaking with him after i caught him attempting to flirt with her, he gave me a complete attitude for some reason. finally i got him to work on my bike, in between him verbally disrespecting the other employees and flirting with other young women in the store. look thats all cool when theres no work to be done but when i have to wait 2 hours for a flat and youre doing nothing and complaining about the work and forcing it on the on the other workers so you can look like youre running shit in a recently ruined shop you make you look and tonys shop look like shit.
i dont know what tony of ts bicycles was thinking firing or finding reason for them to quit but he made a wrong mistake sending this idiot to take over.
WORD OF ADVICE - DO NOT GO HEREEEE! THESE PEOPLE RIP YOU OFF. THIS SHOP HAS MADE IT BETTER TO GO TO TS OTHER SHOP, TS BICYCLES.

Double ditch was here and passed. Trip put some real effort into some dirt jumps and this sattelite dish. I got trashed as usual and kicked it with the Westsiders and Timmy. They tried for a 4pm start but forgot that monsoon season always dumps in the muntains around 430. All in all it was the best yet. Couple grind rails and alot f drunkards filled a wet ditch jam with brief moments of flash flood where everyone grabbed an underage girl and hid in beneath the redbull tent. Pesk1 provided sound with a generator and an full roster of Who's Who in the southwestern scum scene enjyed thorough entertainment. In my opinion I won the jam because i was the most drunk and equally irresponsible. But this shitty drunk pic i shot of Joe P. aka lil jake. doesnt relay justice to the incrediblely soaked ditch session.

its a sod thing when someone takes it bad. recently a local bike rider was struck by a car and flew fett to his death on the corner of park and university and it makes me sad every time i walk outside my front door. the one thing i would like to say about A-Tip was i didnt know the guy. he was and he served the pabst cold. his job sucked and he rode a bike without brakes or lights and was down to take it to the streets whether it was a red light or a two way stop sighn. too bad for the rest of us who have to keep on being, breathing. He might of had it a little easy on his way out a little too early but thats the risk we take every day right? and i can only hope the same will happen to me one day so ill never have to worry about that next rent check...and when it does happen to me, dont you even dare make some sort of charity memorial at a bar where u all pay for drinks...help my girl pay for the funeral and step to my casket raise a cheek and f in my f one last time.

'specially this little lady... her name is Cynthia and i've grown quite attached to her over the last couple months.. i don't know that she's built for the long haul to sunny san diego, but if she can handle my brooklyn-queens commute i'm sure she can throw down where ever. (yeah, i know this may sound stupid but it would be hard to give this up for a steel bike... i know, i sound like a puss.. but i'm cool with that. haha) on a side note... the toe-clips are back.. riding in the city clipped in is fine untill summer is in full swing and takes you out.

Remembering Johnny and the Reno's...I hid the impaired green turd in a bush to join other piles of shit and sprinted faster than Cavondich to Lonnie's house to hide then grab Joes bike... i then proceeded to nail a parked black Lexus breaking the drivers window , denting the door and ripping off the mirror. I havent looked at Joes bike yet, but i remember car alarms, yelling, and once again sprinting away from another brutal scene. I woke up on the couch that is now blood stained and spotted like a 15 y/o's underpants, deeeeeep gouges in my fingers, hand, side, pride...and a sweet record player i found on the street.
the heartless bastards spoke to me last night. her words were aged like cheddar, reminding me, that these things tend to happen to the best of us, but regardless life moves on and all this bile churning in my lower intestinse will soon turn to diahrea and flush from me with a terrible eye opening sunrise...while my head pounds and side bleeds, at least, i think, i got away with it.

One day earlier this year, a beautiful thurseday in san francisco if memory serves twinston, ivers , finnegan and the I all decided to jump into silky blue for a trip down the penninsula to the popular menlo skatepark. Just before passing SFO on the 101 silky blue began to lose power. The next hour or so was spent doing this.
Lucky for us Twinston (who doesnt own or drive a car regularly) has a AAA plan with just enough miles to get us towed to a bad ass VW shop in Colma, where the ever ready to help herbrothas out stocker came and took us back to the city. We decided to go to the trails and play soccer with a rotten pumpkin.
then we got real high by climbing to the top of this redwood that some hippies have topped over the years and woven into a tree top sanctuary reminiscent of a basket mixed with a birds nest.
Next thing you know silkys out the shop and taking us back down the penninsula for bruised elbows and super sick wall rides at the throwback spot..

jake sightings all over the east coast...someone text'd me last night saying they saw jake at Mojo's in VA taking a mangler. Im moving to the woods in a couple....days.
Kirby, hope you come out and ride. First couple weeks in June would be prrrrrrrfect.

we had a storm. shit was pretty gangster. on the day it was worst the electricity went out on my transfer... i rode to work in the rain that morning so i said fuck it and decided to pedal around the bullshit. well... the bullshit was from time square to canal street.. about 40 blocks. BEAST MODE. riding in manhattan is stupid. cab drivers are on some other shit..
on to the great news. i'm completely in my spot now and couldn't be happier with the way things worked out. the new hood is super awesome dope radical... but i can't go ride pq before work on sundays so i'm kinda llodando about that one.. (ifuckingmissyouguys)

if you read anything on the fbm website, or crandall's leastmost.com you would read that it was a happy exciting day in the sun two weeks ago in richmond, VA. Fixed gears fixing. BMX bikes coasting. Bike polo, track stands and nose wheelies shared by one and all in a vast cornacopia representing the southeastern cycling community.
this was not true, i feel that crandall has to show bi-partisanship for the soul reason of the fbm sword bike, wich he intends to move many units. The reality is that a Jarrod Allen look-a-like was throwing a contest for freestyle fixed gears and almost all the Richmond bmx heads came through, some to antagonize, some to observe, all to chuckle.
Face it, you just cant look as stylish with a 700c wheel as you can on a 20". Zac told me they were at this bank spot (that is pictured at the top of my previous post), and Jon Cardiel showed up on a fixie and threw down some pretty cool stuff...with Cardiel as the acception all fixed gear freestyle tricks revert bicycle progression about 30 years. Mountain bikes have followed the path of the 20" and FMX followed them. Enough said about the new sport that looks like a skidmark of american apparel in underpants too small for fat vegan kids to live out their pro fantasies because skateboarding bmx and even rollerblading passed them by.
the contest. It was funny, a grind box set down 8 stairs into the mud. the mud. the grind box was so low they couldnt pedal grind it or else their wheels just hit the stairs. Some kids with pegs feebled it, and Babycakes (pictured below on a green bike with whitewash jeans) actually jumped out and wheelied down it. A couple wedge ramps into a grass bank. Needless to say all bmx bikes killed it with badass shit that made the fixed gears tell them to stop.
TO STOP. "hey only fixed gears can ride this" no one listened. "only the elite comp riders can ride everyone else stand back" he whimpered loud enough for all to hear. then Kaream-pie the fat egyptian faggot from SD actually yelled "if you guys think you can throw down in our comp. then go ahead and try"
I was tripping and vibes went sour as fast as glass shatering...I tied a Ulock to a belt i found and prepared myself for what looked like a brawl at any moment. In the end there was no brawl and they were defeated by their own embarassing ignorance and shameless pride for a sport that is struggling to exist. a sport that Im sure its here to stay, im sure. The benefits of attending one of these comps is the entertainment. I have never seen so many endo's and failed barspins and 180's in my life. I will absolutely go to another fixie contest, they seem to attract alot of pussy, some in the contest(who were just pussies) and some drinking champagne and smoking trees with the rest of us (who had them)
